Accessibility

Contractor Verified wants everyone to be able to browse and buy from Contractor Verified, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

• Automated accessibility checks (axe-core) run against our key pages on every change, and we fix serious and critical issues before they ship.
• We use semantic HTML, labeled controls, keyboard-navigable menus and forms, and visible focus styles.
• Color choices are checked for contrast, and content stays readable when text is enlarged.

Known limitations

Accessibility is ongoing work, and some content or third-party components may not yet be fully conformant. We are actively improving these areas. If something is hard to use, please tell us so we can prioritize a fix.
